Celebrity Sighting Update

Yesterday, my rather pathetic celebrity sightings were trumped twice.

Jonny saw Zooey Deschanel yesterday at a hip Vietnamese restaurant in Silverlake.

I learned of this only after I found out that one of my colleagues, Chris, saw Parker Posey at the West Hollywood Whole Foods.

Sigh.

Celebrity Sightings in Sherman Oaks

After a long celebrity dry spell (no double entendre intended), I finally saw a couple of the famous folk today, wandering the streets of this fair city.

First I saw Marc Singer, best known for his gut-wrenching performance as Dartanus on the hit TV drama "BeastMaster" and his heartbreaking performance as Bob in one episode of "Honey I Shrunk the Kids: The TV Show."

I also saw Justine Bateman, best known for having weird incestuous tendencies with her brother (who is obviously much cooler), Jason Bateman. She was very bitchy to me, to which I replied, "Oh, go throw up in a toilet you has-been!"

What's weird is that I call them celebrities, but they really aren't. They are pretty lucky that anyone recognized them at all, and this will probably be the first thing they see when they google their own names. And for that, Marc and Justine, I am truly sorry.
